Plans for the evening

It is formally New Years eve. We have no big plans for the evening, just card playing with some friends until about 11ish then back home. I have to work, Michele and J will watch the ball drop (maybe, if they don't crash) then off to bed. (except for the going to work part, this is just the way I like it).

I guess I'm getting old because I no longer get the whole New Year's party thing. I have no tolerance for crowds of drunk idiots doing brainless things. You might think I'd get used to people doing dumb things, dispatching for a while now, but actually I'm amazed every day. I'll expound on that some other time.
